Hello everyone! After our longer than expected break from being able to have Sisters from Scratch open WE ARE FINALLY BACK!🤩👩‍🍳🥳 It's the holiday season and we are excited to be offering you our tasty loaves of love and cinnamon rolls! Katie and I are a VERY excited to be back in the kitchen bringing you our loaves of love!:)

Our loaves freeze very well! You can place them in the freezer up to 3 months and they still taste fresh once defrosted. Feel free to direct message us or email us ([email protected]) with any questions!

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a great Holiday Season! Thank you to all of our continued friends/customers. We have been so blessed this holiday season to add so many new friends/customers to the SfS family. For those who have joined the SfS family and may not know us personally we wanted to share a little bit about ourselves.

We are Katie and Maggie Stordy, two sisters who fell in love with baking at a young age and want to share our love for baking with others! Katie is 22 and is studying to be a Physician Assistant at DeSales University in PA. Maggie is almost 21 and is studying Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management at Purdue University.

Sisters from Scratch has been a dream of ours for a number of years. We have enjoyed baking ever since we were young helping our mom in the kitchen bake cookies, breads and cakes. At a young age we would sit at the kitchen table coming up with plans to one day open our very own bakery. In May 2020, we officially launched Sisters from Scratch and began receiving orders. We have enjoyed every step in creating and running our own home-based business.We want to thank everyone who has supported us through the past several months especially our mom and dad (David Stordy)

Our goal here at Sisters from Scratch is to bring people together and share in special moments. We hope through this holiday season with your order you were able to do just that.

In the spirit of transparency, we are very grateful for the support and patience from some of our friends/customers in the northeast who experienced delays with the Christmas season shipping delivery. We "tested" shipping in several east coast states, including the northeast, over the Thanksgiving holiday with 100% success. We apologize for the delays in shipping that occurred in the northeast due to circumstances beyond our control. We knew it was the right thing to do in line with our SfS values to process refunds, again, our deepest apologies.

We have 4 dates for pick-up/delivery (local only, no shipping) for January 2021 then we will shut down since we both will be back at college for the 2021 spring semester.

As Christmas is only a couple of days away and as of tonight we are officially closed for the rest of the week, but we want to thank everyone for allowing us to bake your “loaves of love” with love for your family and friends this Holiday season! We are here to bring people together to share special moments and we sincerely hope that we have done that for you! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Stay safe and healthy 🎁⛄️🎄

Our Winter Loaves of Love are here!
-Chocolate Peppermint- topped with chocolate ganache and crushed candy canes
-Gingerbread- optional cream cheese frosting topping (not pictured below)
-White Chocolate Cranberry- Made with fresh cranberries and topped with a pecan streusel and white chocolate drizzle.

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable thanksgiving! We took a little break between some orders to make a 21st birthday cake for our best friend. Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream with a chocolate ganache and white chocolate covered strawberries!! 😋

Summer is almost over which means back to school! Order your breads for future events like book clubs, bible studies, or coffee dates and freeze them! Our breads taste fresh even after being in the freezer for 2 months!

Happy Sunday! As summer is quickly coming to an end we wanted to put out a calendar for anyone wanting to order from us! AUGUST 11 will be the last day to pick up any breads you order. July 26-August 7 we will be out of the kitchen, but will still take orders for August 8-11. We will then operate on a seasonal basis for the next couple of months!
