Thank you so much for the feature!
Fishers | Mel Black with The Mini Loaf Indy | “I started it last year. Honestly, I was going through postpartum, and it wasn't going very well. So, I just needed an outlet, and I started doing sourdough and really fell in love with it. And then I started just making mini loaves because I noticed that a lot of people liked sourdough, but it's kind of a commitment...to eat it consistently. And I found that people were more attracted to a smaller loaf.” What drew you to sourdough bread in particular? “It was just sort of the rhythm of making it--just like the kneading and the patience of it all. And I found it very calming. And in the anxiety state that I was in, it was very much needed.” [Mel does farmers markets, but she mainly does deliveries in Westfield, Noblesville, and Fishers. She also has a bun in the oven due in September, so catch her at farmers markets while you can! I met Mel at the Westfield Markets.]
