What a process.
It's been 3 years in this East Chatham location. My first solo adventure in business.
Yes, I've been in business for nearly 7 years. Starting in the back of Local 111 with Josephine Proul . She let me start, learn, and grow all through the pandemic.
Then, it was time to venture out finding my own spot in the world with this budding business.
I took the opportunity to rent this location in East Chatham in 2023 and made it mine. Figuring it out all along the way.
Bringing some accounts with me:
Chatham Real Food Market Coop
The Chatham Berry Farm
Random Harvest
Gaining accounts:
New Lebanon Farmers Market & Grocery
and amazing customers (both repeat and so many new!)
Through cakes, cupcake orders, and the experimental idea of a porch cooler. The porch cooler turned into a porch fridge. Was it perfect. No. But it worked and most patrons are honest amazing people. Buying my favorites and testing out experiments along with some flops. What a cool thing!
So, as I sit in my empty old kitchen space and reflect π on this journey. Just wait and see where Bonnie the Baker is next.
The new spot is fantastic π and amazingly close to home. Hopefully turning into an extension of my home. Feeling comfortable and inspiring.
Please be patient as my team need to put my new kitchen together and figure out flow. My amazing cheerleader, my husband Jeffrey. Keeping me going when times are hard and downright dismal but also my #1 fan always ready to do the heavy lifting for me and taste tester. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Hint- It's in Ghent! The porch fridge will be back!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank You for the continued support and kindness for my business. It means so much.
With gratitude,
Bonnie
