I’ve become somewhat obsessed with making savory French toast with different breads made by our good friends at Four Score Kitchen …and then making sandwiches out of the French toast… pictured is a jalapeño cheddar sourdough French toast meatloaf sandwich made with homemade meatloaf from two nights ago, melted Swiss and some cowboy candy slaw… 🤌🤤 so good

Morning y'all ☕️

It's Monday again.

We've shipped our Cowpoke off to a Barrel Racing Clinic/Camp in East Texas for the week, and wouldn't you know, the first favorite orange cherry tomatoes ripened a day after they left.

Riley the pup will have to keep the squirrels away so there'll be more when they get home.

Summer is settling into a gentle rhythm...bakery, garden, bakery... there's time to stretch and time to rest. Time to enjoy the bounty of the season - ripe tomatoes, a perfect Texas cantaloupe - in this brief window where they're available.

Slow down. Savor the moment. Make memories.

Menu will be up later today. No big changes, but there could be fun last-minute additions. If you're doing burgers for Father's Day, be sure to let me know how many buns you'll need😊
