Chabanel Bakery I am a cottage baker who has been baking my bread for over 40 years. I added my mini loaves this year along with my popular cinnamon honey.

I started baking when I was about 8 years old and have loved it ever since. I use as many local ingredients in my baked goods as possible and scrimp on nothing!

Chabanel Bakery here... I wish you could smell the house today... I baked gluten free Texas sheet cake, gluten free pumpkin bread, cranberry pecan bread, blueberry lemon, banana nut, and almond gooey butter... the various aromas are amazing!!! I'm half baked for Saturday... tomorrow the house will smell of fresh baked breads and cinnamon rolls... I sure wish I could bottle the aromas!!! :)

Another successful day at Double D Market... thank you community!... you are awesome... it is always fun to see familiar faces and new ones as well...I had some fun reactions to my brownie chip cookies as well as my oatmeal... made me very happy to say the least... You are the best and I appreciate each of you so much... hope to see you again next week!!!

Chabanel Bakery is almost fully baked and looking forward to another wonderful Saturday at Double D Market at 1300 Hwy DD, Defiance, MO 63341. I'll have my breads, mini loaves, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cookie sandwiches, cinnamon honey, hot honey, and local honey... I think I remembered everything! I'll be there from 8-1 and I can't wait to see your smiling faces!!! :)

Chabanel Bakery here... another huge thank you to this community for a fantastic Saturday at Double D Market. There are not enough words to express how much I appreciate the support you are showing me Saturday after Saturday. It means so much to me. To those who I did not get to share this with.. I will not be at the corner next Saturday due to another commitment but I'll be back the following week... I hope to see you then... thanks again!!!
