If you’ve been in recently, you’ve noticed we swapped out our savory pastry for something new! I’ve been wanting to do something with fennel for a good long while, and this pastry is inspired by a simple dish my nonna made one when I went to visit her one weekend while I was teaching English abroad in Italy.

All she did was roast some fennel with some stracchino cheese in the oven, and it was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever had. So simple, and still so delicious. I wanted to find a way to honor her with the same, delicious simplicity. While the original version had stracchino, it just became too unreliable to get, so we now use stracciatella instead! Cheese base, roasted fennel on top, and then drizzled with our version of cool honey (because hot honey is everywhere! So we wanted to change it up). Still simple, still absolutely delicious. Come in and try one now!

(Oh yea. Our cool honey is infused with lemongrass, ginger, mint, and lime 🤤)

We heard Strawberry Jam might be tomorrow! While we won’t be there, swing by before hand and grab one of our strawberry and sweet basil pull-aparts for the road, with a side of coffee from .boba!

We are also planning a little bombolone special for the weekend. Does a donut filled with house made strawberry jam and vanilla pastry cream happen to interest anyone? We will have a limited amount this Saturday and Sunday ONLY! Come say hi ✨

When life gives you a gaggle of Karens, you make a reel 🍋

The harassment lasted for five days, but the laughs will last a lifetime. Once again, this was all over a cake that was prepared correctly, but she just felt it was too short, which is actually INSANE behavior. We will always leave up negative reviews, because we recognize that we may not be for everyone, and that’s ok! But you gotta TRY the food first…and not be a turd to us or staff. And if you haven’t had our cakes, we think they’re pretty dang tasty, and sized appropriately 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway, happy AAPI month! Come and see us and .boba some time ✨
