We're so grateful for your continued support this year, and we're excited about what's ahead for Gold Star Bakery. We have said goodbye to our time at Ivywild School, and we're getting ready for a fresh new chapter: production is restarting at the reimagined Blue Star restaurant in just a few weeks!

In the meantime, our standard preorders are temporarily paused, but our 🥧THANKSGIVING PREORDERING for pies and treats is open NOW🥧 - so grab your favorite holiday goodies before our pie preorder slots fill up! We can't wait to bring back the full menu once we're up and running in our new home.

And for anyone wondering about same-day pick ups, we hope to roll out a new program to accommodate that soon - and move into a fresh retail space within the next 12 months. Stay tuned!

⭐️THE END OF A CHAPTER… BUT NOT THE END OF OUR STORY.

This is our final week at Ivywild School
Visit us for your pie and sweet treat fix September 16-19!

From our humble beginnings as the Gold Star Pie Truck to planting roots inside the historic halls of Ivywild School, this little bakery has grown right alongside the Colorado Springs community we love so much.

We are incredibly grateful for every pie picked up for a holiday table, every cookie shared with a friend, every celebration we’ve been invited into, and every person who has stopped by our counter over the years. Being part of such a historic, community-centered Colorado Springs landmark has been an honor.

And now, it’s time for our next chapter. ⭐️
Gold Star Bakery is relocating our production facility just across the street to a brand-new bakery space inside the reimagined Blue Star - an institution in its own right and a place with deep roots in this community. We’ll soon reopen preordering for pies, cookies, bars and all your Gold Star favorites for future dates.

We've been so grateful for all of the kind messages, questions, and memories you've shared since announcing our Fond Farewell to Ivywild campaign. It's a reminder of just how much this place has meant to our community over the past decade.
We've also heard some questions about what comes next, so we wanted to make things a little easier to understand.
Here's what you need to know:
• Gold Star Bakery will continue to be managed by Blue Star Group, with production moving to The Blue Star at 1645 S. Tejon Street, opening Fall/Winter 2026.
• Principal's Office and Ivywild Kitchen will remain at Ivywild School under the new stewardship and management of Bristol Brewing Company beginning September 20.
• Decent Pizza Co. will also transfer to Bristol Brewing Company. Future plans for the concept after September 20 have not yet been announced.
• All other Ivywild School businesses will remain as they are.
We hope this helps clear things up! And while there's still time, we'd love for you to be part of our Fond Farewell to Ivywild celebration. Pick up a $13 Farewell Punch Card, snap a yearbook-style photo on the brick photo wall located in the P.O. dining room and tag for a chance to win dinner for two at The Blue Star.

For more than a decade, Ivywild School has been home to incredible food, unforgettable moments, and a community we're endlessly grateful for. While Blue Star Group will transition operations from the building on September 20, our story in the Ivywild neighborhood is far from over.
Over the next few months, we're celebrating this chapter the best way we know how, with great food, fun memories, and a few chances to win along the way.
