There are particular things about preparing any type of food, either for consumption or for looks (which at the time, is aesthetically pleasing, wasteful) I have always enjoyed the satisfaction of seeing eyes light up whenever you have a beautiful plate of food put in front of you. The joy I get from creating something grown for eating. Taste, smell, the feel of rising bread, or the look of cookies baking in the oven. Even the sound of searing something in a hot pan. Through many things in my life, the kitchen has been my favorite spot whenever there is a chance to be in it. Over the years I think that a beautiful, organized kitchen is my favorite. Not because of the gadgets you can use, but the creativity of the things you've acquired over time, and the uses to make such a creative piece of art. It's magic. It's not just a hobby it's a complex but freedom to try and fail without regret. The holidays are coming up, and though there are stresses and time restraints. My most favorite time for being in the kitchen might be now.
