June invites us to rest. Writing Scripture helps us slow our pace and remember that God’s goodness is not something we earn - it’s something we receive. These verses are meant to refresh your soul, not overwhelm it.

If a verse prompts questions, pause and read more of the passage. Sit with it. Let God’s Word meet you in stillness.

May Scripture Writing Plan - Strength for Every Step

This month’s verses remind us of God’s strength - the strength that carries and upholds us. Writing Scripture allows us to sit with these truths, letting them sink in rather than rushing past them.

If you don’t fully understand a verse, take time to read the context and explore its meaning. God’s strength becomes clearer as we spend time in His Word.

May’s Scripture writing verses center on God’s strength - the kind that carries us, upholds us, and renews us when we feel weak.

These daily verses are a reminder that you are not walking alone, and you are not expected to do everything in your own strength.

If you’ve been needing encouragement or reassurance, let this month be a quiet return to the truth that the Lord is your helper and your refuge.

I’ll be sharing the full monthly Scripture writing plan next - save the next post so you can walk through May grounded in His strength.

The Lord is near, and He sustains you.

April Scripture Writing Plan :: Peace in Every Season

April’s verses center on peace, the kind that only Jesus gives. This month also includes extra writing over Easter weekend, reflecting on the resurrection story.

Writing scripture helps us slow down and let that peace settle into our hearts. As you write, breathe, reflect, and allow God’s presence to quiet your thoughts.

If a verse feels heavy or unclear, pause and read the surrounding passage. Spend time in the full chapter if needed. Peace often comes through deeper understanding.

Join me this spring for a sourdough class!

There are two classes to choose from. The Classic Class teaches the basics of sourdough, from starter care to baking your first loaf. The Advanced Class builds on those skills and teaches you how to make sourdough cinnamon rolls and English muffins.

Come solo or bring a group of friends - either way, it is a fun and hands-on experience 🤩

I haven’t posted much about the bakery lately, but each week continues to keep me busy! From my infamous salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies, the classic sourdough loaf that everyone loves, prepping for classes and shaping 30 loaves of dough at once - it’s always something exciting!

This is the kind of joy that fills the room when these kids worship.

I’ll be heading to Kenya soon to serve alongside this community. If you’d like to be part of the journey, I’d love your prayers and support as I continue fundraising for this mission trip.

Faith means trusting God without knowing how the story ends.

It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did.

It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood.

It was by faith that Sarah was able to have a child.

It was by faith that Moses parents hid him for three months when he was born.

It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as through they were on dry ground.

All of these heroes lived by faith - trusting God without seeing the fulfillment.

The question is not if God is faithful… but whether WE will be.

🤍 What are you trusting God with today? Leave a comment below.

📌 Save this so you remember that faith isn’t about outcomes - it’s about trust.

February Scripture Writing Plan – Faithful Love 🤍

February’s verses focus on God’s faithfulness — His steadfast love that does not waver.

Writing Scripture helps us slow down enough to truly absorb that truth, creating space for reflection, prayer, and reassurance.

When something doesn’t make sense, let it draw you deeper. Read the surrounding verses or the full chapter, and use a trusted commentary if helpful. God’s faithful love becomes even clearer when we linger in His Word.
