NEW CLASS ALERT! After many (many!) requests, I've added a new class to our line-up: Sourdough Discard: Bakery-Style Cookies + Muffins!

This is a 2.5-hour class focused on turning sourdough discard into truly exceptional baked goods.

The star of this class is my Salted Browned Butter Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookie. These cookies have become a bakery favorite, and I regularly hear that they’re the best chocolate chip cookies people have ever had! In this class, I’m sharing the recipe AND the bakery techniques behind them.

I’ll demonstrate the cookie recipe from start to finish while teaching you the little details that make a big difference: how to properly brown butter, build deeper flavor, achieve the right dough consistency, portion bakery-style cookies, and bake them for that perfect balance of crisp edges and a soft, chewy center.

You’ll also learn how sourdough discard works in baked goods and how I use it to add flavor and texture without making everything taste “sour.”

Then it’s your turn! You’ll mix up a batch of our seasonal sourdough muffins, learning a few more bakery tips and techniques along the way.

You’ll head home with 6 bakery-style cookies and your seasonal muffins ready to bake, plus the recipes and know-how to recreate both in your own kitchen.

This class is less about spending hours cooking together and more about learning the recipes, techniques, and bakery skills that will make you a better baker at home.

Everything you need is provided. Come ready to learn some of my favorite bakery secrets and put that sourdough discard to very good use!

The face of a very happy baker 🧡

I’ve been out of the bakery for a few weeks recovering from wrist surgery, so it was AWESOME to be back to baking this week 💛

The bread and cookies were spot on!! (I always worry if I’ll forget how to bake when I have to step away from the kitchen - true story!!).

Wasn’t excited about the mile high pile of bins to wash, but it’s worth it to share my treats with so many.
