Although this little cutie rooted for our Mountaineers at most of our home games at The Ken, she couldn't make it to Omaha for the College World Series. But no worries - - she's been cheering for them big time from Almost Heaven!!! (Honestly, some of her very first claps ever took place at the Ballpark. 💛) Today is another BIG day and our pretty little Mountaineer has one important suggestion: Make sure that your game-day snacks/lunch include our pepperoni rolls. After all, they are the official food of West by God Virginia! We have other great goodies as well. We're open until 3:00 today. We're feeling positive! 💙⚾️🤞🤞⚾️💙

Our nephew (and sometimes Bakery worker 😃) Michael Paul and his girlfriend Brooklyn arrived back to WV at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday after returning from a vacation out of the country. Just one hour later, in the wee hours of the morning, they were packed up and on the road for a 15-hour drive to Omaha to cheer on their friend 💙⚾️Ben McDougal⚾️💙 and our beloved Mountaineers! (Oh, to be 21 again! 😂) Now that's friendship. That's loyalty. And that's some serious blue-and-gold dedication. 💙💛💛💙

They arrived just in time for the game and proudly have been representing Mountaineer Nation. Yesterday, they even had dinner with Ben and delivered all the love, encouragement, and good wishes from us and his many supporters across Harrison County and beyond. 💛

Today is another big day, and we'll be cheering right along with them from Almost Heaven. We believe in our Mountaineers. We believe in Ben. And we can't wait to see what happens next!

What an incredible victory in the College World Series opener!!! Sending huge congratulations to the WVU coaches, staff and team - - especially to our favorite Mountaineer, 💙Ben McDougal💙! What a job closing it out Ben! When the pressure was at its highest, you stepped on the mound and got it done. 🤩 🤩 🤩

We’ve had so much fun supporting the team all season and we wish them continued success on the diamond in Omaha. Our little Bakery Mountaineer had a blast attending nearly all of the home games (as you can see in the video 😂). No doubt that she'll continue dancing with excitement as the Mountaineers continue their tournament run!

Harrison County's 💙Ben McDougal💙 is “a West Virginia legend" according to Head WVU Baseball Coach Steve Sabins. We couldn't agree more. ⚾️⚾️⚾️

He went on to describe our promotion honoring Ben last week as “a beautiful thing” and chuckled that Ben went from not pitching (due to an injury) “to local superstar and pepperoni salesman.” 😂😂 (Big thanks to Coach’s lovely wife for sharing our post with him. 💛)

Take a few minutes to watch the clip below from Coach's first press conference in Omaha to hear all of the great things Coach had to say about Ben. His talent on the mound is obvious, but it's his character, work ethic, and love for the team and the State that have made so many people proud to root for him. We love you Ben!!!
