Today I’m officially closing the chapter on my cookie decorating business.
This journey has been filled with creativity, learning, late nights, and so many sweet moments (literally). I’m incredibly grateful for every order, every kind word, every share, every referral, and every person who supported me along the way.
One of the most special moments for me was being able to bless an amazing bakery today with my cookie inventory — supplies, tools, and probably 300+ cutters. It felt like the perfect way to close this chapter: giving what helped build my business to someone who can continue creating and serving their community.
This isn’t goodbye with sadness — it’s goodbye with gratitude.
Thank you for being part of this season with me. I’ll always cherish what it taught me and the memories it gave me.

☆ With the new vear approaching, I wanted to formally announce that I am closing up shop.

I accepted only a limited number of orders for this Christmas and I can honestly say - it was a bit much for me.

▪︎ ▪︎ As some of you know, or most of you probably don't - I will be 74 this July and after hundreds of decorated sugar cookies, it's time to "officially hang up the apron".

I have met so many wonderful people through the years .. .. and not only did you become customers, but you became forever friends.

▪︎ You trusted me.. and challenged me and I thank you for that.

After my cookie cutter slowly began to come apart after many many orders a couple of years ago, I had seriously thought about retiring him.
But ...... I have found another cutter on Etsy that is so close to identical with this one and I will be ordering it today.
:::: For my Florida friends-- know that I am no longer living in Florida, unfortunately... and I will not ship individual cookies, but at a later date, I will ship custom orders for those special events.

Hello ... you have been so missed ❤️

Easter this year was a bust for me and for you, unfortunately. I'm so sorry for that.

Most know, I think .... The Sugar Cookie Chick has relocated from Florida to the Harrison County area of the beautiful mountains of West Virginia -- our hometown..

We have been so busy with the process

It has taken me awhile to get unpacked and everything in its place (being the perfectionist I am) .. if you have had my cookies, you know that I am. 😉

As soon as I opened up the calendar for graduation orders ~~~ BOOM!!
I was at my maximum and had to close out in the same day. Crazy shocked to say the least. But thankful for each you.

So ---- if you're wanting to order custom designs for your special events... please please don't wait to contact me!! My calendar is open for June through September only right now.
