The sugar palm fruit is sweet and nutty. I don’t like the flavor initially, but I could see it growing on me. I was hoping it tasted more like a pear.

Louquats have a sweet taste. They remind me of a peach in texture. They don’t taste like a peach, it might closer to an apricot in flavor.

Happy Tasty Tuesday! Tasty Tuesday Dessert: Jackfruit filled puff pastry

Jackfruit tastes like a combination of mango and pear. It is sweet like a banana, not overpowering. I really enjoyed this fruit.

So I puréed the jackfruit and added unflavored gelatin for it to be a little thicker. Then filled the puff pastry with it.

Puréed Jackfruit tasted like applesauce.

Longan fruit is similar to the rambutan and Lychee. I think it has a sweeter taste and is more noticeable than other two.
