Hive Mind:

How do we manage a welcoming outdoor seating space and not feel like the “seating for paying customers only” police.

This is already an issue with a few of our indigent/unhoused neighbors and we’re trying to lead with empathy while still having a welcome atmosphere for the rest of our neighbors……

Our mission at Scarlato’s is to always be giving back to our community.

You all were so generous in helping with our Community Engagement Fund (The Red Truck Fund) that we thought we needed to share that with others.

We’re reaching out to a few charities to join us in creating a series of Ice Cream Socials where we will do similar fundraising.

We’ll create a Signature Sundae for that charity and sell them all month - and - have an Ice Cream Social to bring everyone together for one night of revelry (and a little ice cream *wink*)

Scarlato’s will donate $1 for every signature Sundae we sell throughout the month. On the night of the Ice Cream Social, we’ll donate $1 for ANY ice cream we sell in addition to the Signature Sundae

This is what you are supporting when you donate to the Red Truck Fund at Scarlato's Pizza - 513.662.3322:

We had a dad call in to get dinner for their young kids. Dad was at work and the kids were already home from school and hungry. We get this call pretty often when the parents are still at work and kids are home from school.

This time, dad didn’t have enough money on his card for dinner or the delivery so he was gonna send the older kid down with a couple of dollars and pick up dinner for everybody.

Will intercepted the call and took care of the family with your help.

The kids got to stay safely at home, dinner got delivered, and the dad got a little piece of mind.

$15 made the difference for a family just trying to get thru the day.

This is why we do the work. Thank you for helping us do it.
