Hello there!
It's been awhile. Precisely 243 days.
Or at least that's what Facebook is telling me. π
How have you been? Good I hope.
Me? Been working through stuff, but still upright, so I consider it a win π
I seriously considered closing the bakery, 25 years of baking is a pretty good run, right? After pondering & reflecting. I've decided to not close.
I'll still do cakes,
But I want to do some different things.
I would like to add bread products to the menu.
I am working on getting away from processed foods by making my own with Italian soft wheat flour.
From Italy so not any of the bad chemicals or ultra processed enriched flour we get here. π
I have been making;
Focaccia bread, Focaccia rolls, naan, tortillas, dinner rolls, pizza crusts, flatbread, bagels, hamburger & hotdog buns.
I will definitely try new stuff too!
I'm still working on prices. They will definitely cost more than store bought processed, but I'm not going for a huge profit here. I want to be able to provide healthy REAL food.
I was thinking of doing a weekly subscription box. With a few treats added. Cookies, muffins, cakes or brownies π gotta feed the soul too!
I know way back, I mentioned doing Keto, which just wasn't plausible.
I have passion for this unprocessed real food movement. Healing with real food.
Would any of you be interested?
