I remember this beautiful wedding like it was yesterday, and seeing this photo brings back so many memories. Eight years later, it is such a blessing to see one of my couples still celebrating their love and their life together.

As summer begins to wind down, I’m still holding on to the soft, romantic moments. 🤍

This dreamy wedding cake was created for a beautiful Ethiopian wedding in St. Michaels, Maryland.

Handmade sugar flowers, cascading hydrangeas and roses, lush greenery and ornate gold detailing came together to create something elegant, romantic and timeless.

There’s something I love about a wedding cake that doesn’t just complement the room, but feels like it truly belongs to the couple and their celebration.

I’m Sabrina, the designer behind Couture Cakes by Sabrina, where I create custom cakes and milestone celebrations, with beautiful details, handmade sugar flowers, and designs created specifically for each event.

Over the years, my journey has grown beyond cakes. I created my Training Academy and, most recently, The Cake Pricing Suite to help other cake professionals build stronger businesses.

I’m also a published author of The Counterfeit. 📖

And my newest adventure? Golf. 😂⛳️ Very much a beginner, but I’m enjoying it!

Some designs deserve their flowers.

This cake was all about creating something romantic, detailed and completely custom. I paired an abundance of handmade sugar flowers in shades of lavender, blush and soft pink with rich purple Baroque detailing to give the design a little drama and old-world elegance.

What I love most is that nothing about this cake feels ordinary. From the sugar florals to the baroque detail. This cake was created to make the design feel personal to the celebration.
