A wedding cake that was truly close to my heart. ❤️

Yesterday, I had the honor of creating Frank and Jessica’s wedding cake in Virginia. This celebration was especially meaningful because I’ve known Jessica since she was a little girl, and her mother, Ada, has been one of my dearest friends for over 15 years.

Every detail, from the elegant draping to the handcrafted sugar flowers in burgundy, blush, and ivory, was created with love.

Congratulations, Frank and Jessica! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness together. ❤️

Happy 8th wedding anniversary to Allison & Korey!

It’s always something special to look back at a wedding cake years later and remember that it was part of such an important moment in a couple’s story.

Their wedding cake was designed with layers of texture, metallic gold and silver details, and modern geometric elements for a look that was elegant, artistic, and completely their own.

And for a little nostalgia, we had to bring back “Best Part,” the song that played at their wedding reception. 🤍

Michael Kors Inspired Handbag Cake
A throwback fashion moment. 💕

If you have followed Couture Cakes by Sabrina for a while, then you know fashion has always been part of our story.

It is actually where much of my inspiration began.

This Michael Kors inspired handbag cake brought that love of fashion straight into cake design, from the handles and straps to the gold hardware and signature charm.

One of the things I have always loved about cake artistry is taking something familiar and figuring out how to recreate it in cake while still capturing all of those little details that make it recognizable.

And apparently, handbags were not safe around me either. 😂

Throwback Thursday ✨
Back when fashion-inspired cakes were everywhere, I was commissioned to create this Louis Vuitton-inspired birthday cake.

This one takes me back. The stacked luggage, the handbag, the hand-painted details, the hardware… we were doing the most, and I loved every minute of it. 😂

It’s funny looking back at some of these designs now because you can really see the evolution of my work over the years. Different era, same attention to detail.

And yes… this was all cake.
