💗 I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and I wanted to share something a little more personal.
For five years, I’ve poured so much of myself into building Text It Treats. 🍭💕
And when I say poured myself into it, I mean everything.
The long days. The late nights. The missed family gatherings. The friendships that changed along the way. The countless times I’ve questioned myself, cried, picked myself back up, and kept going. 🥹
There have been so many sacrifices that nobody sees.
And somewhere along the way, I think I forgot how to just enjoy what I was building.
There’s something about owning a small business that makes you feel like you’re never doing enough. You hit one goal, and before you can even celebrate it, you’re already thinking about the next one.
More sales. More growth. More opportunities. More, more, more. 📈
And honestly? It’s exhausting. ❤️🩹
What people don’t always see behind the pretty treats and smiling pictures is the mental weight of carrying something you’ve worked so hard to create. The constant worrying. The second-guessing. The feeling that one wrong decision could undo everything.
But something really clicked for me while I was away celebrating my birthday. 🎂💗
What if what I’ve built is already something worth celebrating? ✨
What if I stopped measuring success by what I haven’t accomplished yet and started appreciating everything I have?
Because the truth is, I’m incredibly proud of Text It Treats. 💕
I’m proud of the little dream that turned into a real business. I’m proud of the people we’ve reached, the customers who’ve become friends, and every single person who has supported us along the way.
And I’m proud of myself for not giving up, even on the days when that would’ve been the easiest thing to do. 🥹💪
But I’m also realizing that I don’t want to spend my life being so worried about tomorrow that I forget to enjoy today. 🌸
I’m learning to let go a little. To trust God with what’s next instead of feeling like I have to figure everything out myself. 🙏❤️
To enjoy the beautiful business I’ve built without feeling like I constantly need to prove something.
I still have dreams. BIG ones. 😂💗✨
But I want to chase them from a place of joy instead of fear.
So as we head into this holiday season, I’m giving myself permission to slow down, breathe, and actually enjoy this little dream of mine. 🎄💕
Maybe success isn’t always about building something bigger.
Maybe sometimes it’s about finally finding peace in what you’ve already built. 🕊️❤️
