Linen texture on your royal icing cookies:
Flood > completely dry (12 hours) > scrape horizontal > scrape vertical > dust. That’s it. No stencil, no airbrush, no printer.

I dust all of my cookies with corn starch before packaging but especially on cookies with edible marker or printed images, that super light dusting keeps the design from smudging, prevents sticking, and keeps the colors crisp in the bag. You won’t taste it, but you’ll see the difference when you open it!

Puffy letters that actually puff ✨

Save this for your next cookie set — 3 little things that made all the difference for me:

1. Keep both your piping + flood a little thicker. If it’s too thin, it flattens out.

2. Pipe your letters right after your base crusts over — not fully dry, just crusted. That’s the sweet spot for dimension.

3. Pop them in front of a fan to dry. Helps them hold that puff while they set.
