I’ve been taking advantage of spring and making dandelion, wild violet, and redbud (not pictured) jelly and plan on taking advantage of summer and experimenting with more
Dandelion jelly is very similar to honey while violet and redbud jelly taste very similar and has a more fruity taste.

I plan on spending the next couple months to make salve (it takes awhile) and this week I plan on making dead nettle tea. Im sure there will be quite a few new things coming up as summer comes along and new things come in season.

You know how there’s certain people notorious for a specific thing? My moms is her cream puffs, so I’m in no way going to compare them to these because I already know the first thing they are going to say if how they aren’t going to be as good as hers (which I completely agree).

That, however, didn’t stop me from making strawberry cream puffs. Then, some chocolate dipped Oreos with sprinkles to keep it simple because, who doesn’t love Oreos?

I always feel a need to make masculine, blue collar workers the most glittery feminine baked goods I can for every holiday.
So, for Easter they are getting carrot cupcakes with cream cheese icing. Tulips have been my favorite lately, hence the pick of design.

Ever since I saw these tips for the crazy floral piping, I’ve been fascinated with it. So, I bit the bullet and went for it. I already had a bit of a challenge using such a soft icing for piping and risk of ruining it and melting it, but I think for a first time it isn’t bad.

Pastery bites filled with spinach and artichoke dip, and obviously I had to make them look like a bunny so that was done with bell pepper and parsley.
