ICYMI the bread store is changing ownership. In preparation for the changeover, ABC will be closed on Mondays for a bit. This gives us some breathing room to make the transition as soon as possible, and it gives Tim a little extra time to train the bakers before he leaves. Sorry for the inconvenience!

BREAKING NEWS: Our head baker and owner, Tim, is getting ready to move on and sell the bakery. ABC is entering a transitional period with fewer offerings and reduced hours. It’s a big change, and a sad one, but great things are right around the corner!

Our offerings will focus on our core items: country loaves, baguettes, croissants, focaccia, and seeded bread. We will make special treats and pastries as time allows. The extra time will give Tim some breathing room to train the baking staff before his departure. The timeline for his departure is not yet certain but will happen soon.

Today is the last Monday we will be open until ownership changes. Hope to see everyone soon!

SHOP IS CLOSED MONDAY 4/20
We are giving the shop some much needed TLC today. We’re performing maintenance on our equipment. We’re deep-cleaning our kitchen. We’re prepping food for the rest of the week.

It’s all prompted by our Head Baker receiving a nasty tick bite and a fresh Lyme disease diagnosis. It left us short staffed over the weekend when we usually perform our prep for the week. So, we need an extra day to get things in order. We appreciate your understanding.

2/16 OVEN MALFUNCTION CLOSURE

Bad news this morning. We came in today to find our oven had malfunctioned. It’s some sort of error in the ancient software system. It’s the only oven we have and its failure means we can’t bake our bread and pastries today. We’ll keep everyone updated as the situation develops.

Open today 12-6. Limited selection. Our systems are coming back online. Production is whizzing back to life. We will have bread and pastries throughout the afternoon. Sourdoughs will be ready by 3pm. No salt-free Toscano today (sorry!). Hope everyone is staying safe out there. See you soon!

We’ll reopen Tuesday! We’re dug out and we hope you are too. We’ll be open tomorrow from 12-6pm. It might take us an extra day to get production of sourdough and pastries back on track, but we should have a good inventory of items available tomorrow. Stay safe everyone!

We’re back! Thanks to Bail Electric for helping us fix our oven’s electrical system.

Our hours have changed. We will now be open 12-6pm Monday-Friday. See you soon!

Another day without bread here as work continues on our oven’s electrical system. Hoping we’ll be back online for tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Never a dull moment down here at the bread shop. Our oven has fallen victim to some sort of electrical failure and will not power up. We are working hard to get this thing running again.

We don’t know yet how long it will be down, but we will do our best to keep everyone updated. Here’s hoping for a quick fix. Without our oven, we have nothing.
