Halloween week is jam packed! 🎃👻

I'll have some extra special spooky Halloween treats for you guys!

Kicking off the week at the Tony's Tavern Bloody Mary Bar on Sunday the 25th! I hear if you say bloody mary three times while holding a bloody mary in the tonys women's bathroom you will see an infinite reflection of you holding a bloody mary. Pretty spooky right? 1

Then heading over to the West End CiderHouse for the Athens County Independent Macabre spelling bee for another spooky pop up on Tuesday the 27th

On Thursday the 29th I'll be at the Smiling Skull Saloon for a spooky mini cake decorating workshop! Space is limited & tickets are available on my website!

And then for Halloween momma and I will be at Athens Farmers Market for the Halloween market! Costumes are encouraged! Come see what we dressed up as!

In the intrests of keeping me sane & somewhat rested, this months menu looks an awful lot like last months and is maybe missing an item or two 😅 but hey we both know you're gonna love whatever I bring!
And ya never know, maybe having a smaller menu will give me the chance to bring some other surprise things I've been working on 😉

Pretty in pink 💗

Big lovely cake, I loved making this one cake! Each layer was a different flavor!
Raspberry & cream, lemon blackberry fig, and lemon raspberry & cream

It also had 4 little accompanying cakes that I didn't get pictures of.

If you can't decide on one flavor don't worry! I got you!

Hi! I thought I'd introduce myself cuz I don't think I ever have before!
I'm Keely Shaye the baker behind Flour & Thyme!

Flour & Thyme is a one woman show most the time. I am the pastry chef, front of house, social media person, accountant and dish washer and anything else I left off.

I've been baking for 18 years probably and have made most of my own birthday cakes since I was 10 (all but one) and most of my family and friends cakes.

I first started selling my baked goods at my parents farmers market stand when I was 13-14.

I am completely self taught. I believe a lot in on the job experience over classroom teaching. Trial and error, hands on learning from your mistakes.

Flour & Thyme started out as custom cakes and special monthly pastry boxes drops. Now I specialize in viennoiserie, croissant pastries and still decorating custom cakes of course!

I'm at the Athens Farmers Market every Saturday from 9-noon slinging croissants amd other pastries. You can order cakes through my website or stop into Kindred Market for a mini cake or cupcake!
I also host various pop ups through out the month. These pop ups always have some extra special offerings, so don't miss out!
