Hi, I’m Carol — the baker behind The Local Loaf!
I wear all the hats around here: from sourcing ingredients and baking each loaf, to snapping the photos and delivering your bread with love.
This journey started back in 2019, right before the pandemic, when my family and I moved to the U.S. Baking was just a hobby back then, but it quickly became a beautiful way to connect with neighbors and make new friends in a new place.
What began as a simple way to build community has now turned into my full-time job — and I couldn’t be more grateful.
My mission is to bring high-quality, slow-fermented sourdough to every table — bread made with care, time, and just three ingredients.
