It’s a WRAP on World Food Fest 2026!! 🎉

5 insane people trapped in a tent together 😆

Countless laughs and memories (+ some private tears, lol), and about a bajillion dishes to wash along the way. It was a blast!!! 🥰

Thank you again for a super fun weekend. We felt the love from all of you and saw so many new, and familiar faces!! We hope you enjoyed the festival as much as we did. I’m shooting for 4,000 macs next year and already have a lot of ideas on how to make WFF 2027 even better!! 🥰

Now, I come bearing bad news for everyone who asked when we were finally going to be back open.. 😅

‼️ To keep it short, we will be open our regular hours this Friday-Sunday (9/4-9/6), and then will be closed for the rest of September. (Still closed on Thursday 9/3) ‼️

I know… it’s bad.. 😭 but once we get back we should be operating normally through the rest of the year (🤞).

Apologies for any inconvenience caused while we are gone/closed!!!! But if you are looking to try out new coffee shops, bakerys, and other amazing handmade macarons in the area, I am always happy to share recommendations!! Maybe I’ll post a list soon, DSM is blessed to be full of amazing local options. 🫶

Back soon with updates about what we will have this weekend once everything is cleaned and back in its place. Our fridges are empty right now so it might be a little bare bones, especially on Friday (which happens to be my 30th birthday, so please by nice to me hahaha) 😭❤️

Hi, me again!! 👋

Wanted to make a post about our current closure, just for sake of transparency and in case anybody is curious about what we'll be up to! :)

The shop in Ankeny (our only shop, lol) is now closed until further notice. We do not have an exact re-opening date planned yet, but it will be in September.

Why so early before the Festival? Well, my tennis team won our district championship tournament, and qualified for the 'sectionals' level tournament this weekend in Springfield, Missouri! I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to play, and Tristan & Ky are going to be coming along to support me as well. ❤

Once we get back, we will be using the following ~1.5 weeks to prepare for the World Food & Music Festival which takes place from Friday, August 28th - Sunday, August 30th. It is a super fun weekend of food, culture, and music (downtown DSM)! :)

Additionally, we have some huge custom orders during this time period (one of them is for 48 dozen macarons 🤯), and knew we would need time to prepare those alongside our festival prep.

I hate to bring some additional bad news, but we are also going to be closed for a LOT of September for some personal travel (a 90th birthday across the globe, a wedding across the country, and more...) 😅😅

More on that once we have the details settled, but I just wanted to apologize for any inconvenience or disappointed caused while we are gone!!! I promise things will be smooth sailing for a while once we get back from said travel.
