We turned 3 on Sunday!!!!! 🎉

A week ago I jokingly asked bee if she could see us making it to year 3 and she said no!!! I’m like…OH!!!!! 😦 OK!!!!! 😭

But jokes aside…I’m incredibly grateful to be able to continue on for another year and feeding the best community and friends. The support and love is always ALWAYS deeply appreciated, and in moments that I do fall short, I humbly seek your forgiveness and grace ❤️

FBF would be nothing without the team behind it, and I’m so lucky and thankful for all the heart / hard work that everyone puts in.

Well…SEE YA AROUND FOR THE NEXT YEAR I HOPE!!!!! 🫰🏻

Three years ago, we opened our doors with a simple idea: to bake yummy things and share them with our community. It hasn’t always been easy (as you know in F&B), but we’re still here because of every person who’s walked through our doors, placed an order, or told a friend about us.

To celebrate our third birthday, we are commemorating FBF on a tee as a tribute to all the people and moments that make FBF feel like home.

Inspired by Matisse’s La Danse, the five figures are a reflection of our community:
- a little one inspired by the children who pop by the shop (especially my cutie nephew)
- an elderly figure paying tribute to the many senior neighbours in the estate (who is modeled after our beloved Aunty Baby, whom we lost earlier this year and continue to hold close in our hearts)
- the FBF team behind every bake and matcha (without which I would be nothing!)
- two figures are the friends, neighbours, and familiar faces who walk through our doors every week

This design would not have been possible without the most talented bringing this idea to life with her whimsy and artistic talent 👏😭

I am beyond grateful we’ve been given a chance to stick around so come celebrate with us this Sunday! 🥰

our peanut butter apple coffee cake sitting pretty in the sunshine ☀️

vanilla bean sponge, cinnamon apple filling, peanut butter feuilletine crunch, coffee buttercream

we started off this cake flavour by wanting to to put a pb crunch into a cake, but felt that a berry jam might be too predictable ☹️ so we paired it with an apple filling instead and balanced it off with a roasty espresso buttercream finish!! bellisimoooooo~ 🤌🏻
