Hello everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that I come before you today to share some sad news. DP Creations, which has been incepted by Pell and me since October 2018, will be closing the stall in Circuit Road at the end of April 2023. As you know, we had switch to operate on only Fridays to Sunday because of dwindling crowd during weekdays. But even then, we cannot breakeven because of the increase in stall rental and razor thin margin. We could not survive on that
Over the years, we have strived to bring the flavours of yesteryears to our customers. Our pies were all handmade with love and care, using traditional recipes that have been passed down through generations. We offered a range of products, including beef pies, chicken pies, my late mother in law's old school butter cakes, curry puffs, and egg tarts, all of which were designed to recreate the flavours of the past, according to our memories.
You have been our biggest supporters throughout the years, and we are incredibly grateful for the loyalty and love you have shown us. Some of you have become my friends, instead of customers. You know who you are. It has been an honour to serve our community, and we will cherish the memories of you who have walked through our doors.
The decision to close our pie shop has not been an easy one, but unfortunately, circumstances have made it necessary. The challenges of the past year, in particular, have been difficult for small businesses like ours, and we have had to make some tough choices.
While we are sad to say goodbye, we are proud of what we have achieved. We believe that we have made a meaningful contribution to our community, and we are grateful for the support we have received.
To all our customers, we want to say a heartfelt thank you for your loyalty and support over the years. We will miss you, and we hope that the memories of our pies will stay with you for years to come.
In closing, we want to express our deep gratitude to everyone who has been a part of our pie shop's journey. We may be closing our stall now, but who knows, we may come back one day or continue by doing home base. We will take a short break before deciding how is DP Creations going to move on. Do continue to follow our FB . We will carry the memories and the love of our customers with us always.
