GO LUNCH, GO. Welcome to taste a new Savoury 🧇 Danish from this Monday! This seasonal pastry has a ricotta & cream cheese filling, seasoned with dill, salt & 🍋 lemon, and is topped with Swedish green asparagus + grated Grana Padano cheese.

We are really excited to offer you more non-sweet & vegetarian options ... for light lunch, or as a side or starter for your dinner at home.

Last week, our Unibak technician flew in to service our German WACHTEL stone-oven and other main equipment. The "best day of the year" ... when you run a busy baker. Thank you, Preben, as always a great pleasure!

HEADS-UP, we keep closed this Thursday 14/5 (Kristi Himmelfärdsdag) ... otherwise open all week as usual. And, get ready for on 22-24/5 ... it is only every fourth year that some 400'000 people get together in Lund for a long weekend of student carnival, music, food & fun!

WARMTH. Känslan av 🧡 värme, det fick vi uppleva när vi tillsammans med er firade vårt 4-årsjubileum som 🥐 MANNZ.

Tack för alla hälsningar, blommor, presenter och konsert med Klara Hammar (sång), Emil Odell (gitarr), Alexander Wendel (piano), Halfdan Thorndal (trummor) och Alvin Evren (kontrabas). Här några clipp från lör 25/4.

OBS! I maj & juni har vi öppet alla dagar förutom Kristi Himmelfärdsdag 14/5 och Midsommar helgen 29-21/6. Och missa inte med karnevalståget helgen 23+24/5 (start kl.13)!

JUST LIKE US HUMANS. Many layers and fragile, but also crisp sweet sour fresh 😄 ... check out our new SEASONAL DANISH 🧇 filled with rhubarb & ginger compote and whipped 🍋 lemon & creme fraiche pannacotta, topped with roasted ginger crumble and poached rhubarb.

Available for 🧡 you now all 7 days a week!

Some of you ask sometimes what we do with any leftovers at the end of a day. We always plan our production for sellout before close. But of course, if it rains more than forecast, or you collectively stay home 🤭 for some reason, then we try to pack remaining 🍞 bread & 🧇 buns into bags for our delivery to a nearby elderly care home. That is much appreciated, too.

On the last pics you can see Carl von Linne who keeps an eye on his 🌾 flowers and 🥐 MANNZ. It is a well-known statue in our beloved Petri park.

There is always something happening when you ! We will soon celebrate our own 4-year anniversary on Sat 25/4, and a month later it will be time again for (every fourth year only).

JUST GOOD NEWS. We will celebrate already our 4-YEAR ✨️ ANNIVERSARY soon on Sat 25/4! We like to invite you to MINGLING, DRINKS & SWEETS at 🥐 MANNZ at 4pm and LIVE JAZZ at 5pm.

This time we will welcome with Emil Odell (guitar), Alexander Wendel (piano), Klara Hammar (vocals), Halfdan Thorndal (drums), Marius Bowadt (saxophone) and Alvin Evren (double bass).

As an Easter surprise for you, we have just created a new MOUSSE CAKE with passion fruit & mango chantilly, white chocolate mousse with lime, passion fruit glaze, mango cream and topped by a dark chocolate feather!

We will also have our classic EASTER 🐇 BUNNIES (brioche) this week Thu 2/4 + Sat 4/4 ... the only two days that we have EASTER OPEN (Easter Fri, Sun & Mon closed)!

You are welcome to order your Easter mousse cakes, bunnies, bread and pastries in shop, via DM or mail [email protected] to be sure!

And a big THANK YOU to Vic .to.paper who found us and illustrated our new Danish pastry ... the one with organic 🍊 blood orange compote and mascarpone pannacotta. Awsome.

HIRING NEW BAKER! ... Är du utbildad bagare och älskar att jobba med kavlade degar och surdeg? Kom till oss, vi fortsätter att växa och behöver förstärkning!

🥐 MANNZ startades i april 2022. Vi är ett ungt och litet team som jobbar med ekologiskt mjöl, långtidsjäsning och stenugnsbakning. Kolla gärna vår profil så får du intryck av vem vi är och vad vi gör. Vårt bageri finns nära centralstationen mitt i universitetsstaden Lund .

Sannolikt har du en yrkeshögskoleutbildning som konditor/bagare eller motsvarande utomlands, några års gedigen yrkeserfarenhet och bra referenser. Viktigast av allt är dock att du brinner för ditt arbete, är en lagspelare, positiv och prestigelös, och är intresserad av att bidra i utvecklingen av 🥐 MANNZ.

Vi erbjuder en tillsvidareanställning med början i maj 2026. Inget nattarbete, helgarbete 2x per månad, fast månadslön plus extra ersättningar & bonus, friskvårdsbidrag mm.

CREEEEAM! ... eller STORT TACK för den BÄSTA FETTISDAGEN hittills, den fjärde för 🥐 MANNZ i Lund! Vi gjorde 2'000+ SEMLOR (fastlagsbullar) under dagen. Alla era beställningar blev rätt, och vi sålde slt precis innan stängning.

Förutom alla glada 🧡 tillrop och leende från er så var det fantastiskt att få uppleva team känslan ... 4 bagare + 7 butiksbiträden som jobbar hand i hand när det gäller. Eftersom vi tar ytterst få leveranser så gick nästan allt via butiksdisken: tre semlor per minut över 11 timmar av vår öppettid!

Vi är lite trötta men så stolta över det. Vi säger en gång till STORT TACK TILL ER ALLA.

På grund av efterfrågan så kommer vi att ha semlor hela februari ut tills söndag 1/3. Därefter väntar nya fruktiga Wienerbröd och Krämbullar runt hörnet ... våren är på gång!

OBS: Våra salta småfrallor LAUGENBRÖTCHEN finns som alltid på lördagar från kring kl.11.

HERE WE COME. We have open again every day as usual from Friday 16/1, 7am! Thank 🧡 you for your patience and the lovely cheers & smiles while we were cleaning our bakery this week.

We start immediately with our FASTLAGSBULLE aka semla as CLASSIC and our DANISH PASTRY ones. You can choose the latter with almond or vanilla cream (nut-free). For FETTISDAGEN, or Shrove Tuesday, on 17/2 we do also vegan ones.

You can start to order your FETTISDAGEN buns in early February via DM or [email protected].

Reminder, every Saturday from 11am: Bretzel bun time = LAUGENBRÖTCHEN ... we keep traditions.

15K & MORE REASONS. We are so 🧡 grateful for all your support throughout 2025. And we are so humbled by reaching 15'000 INSTA FOLLOWERS today, or nearing almost ONE MILLION VIEWS of our content in a recent 30-day period ... we could not imagine this when starting 🥐 MANNZ.

We are in our fourth year only ... but it feels like a decade of hard work, weekly challenges and one thousand small & big decisions. To say YES can be easy, to say NO can become the most tricky part, but the right one in the long run.

We imagine that it is like running on water, it takes a lot of energy, concentration and belief. You do not grasp it, you cannot explain it. But, it works, somehow and for the most part!

Luckily, all heavy lifting is compensated by your steady support and love. The biggest moments for us are surely the daily personal encounters, chats and laughters in our bakery.

Recently a guest said: "You sent a slice of this [JOSEF] bread with my husband to try. I want you to know, there was a before, and there was an after." 🧡🧡🧡

Our LAST OPEN DAY this year is Tuesday 23/12 (7-18) ... we take a break and will be back in time for our FIRST OPEN DAY in 2026: Friday 16/1.
