Okay, I think this might be one of my favourite cakes I've ever made.

I love the oysters, the noodles, the broth, i love the scallops & shrimp. The edible plates and little sauces.

I really feel like I did so good hahahaha!
Everything is edible, every little groove, indent, colour detail is handmade and handpainted. Nothing by accident.

So much time and love went in to this special cake for one of my regular and incredibly loyal clients. I feel so grateful to be chosen to create an edible show piece for people's special events. So lucky 🥹🥰

I love making these chilly bin cakes!
The snapper is all edible made from chocolate& sugar, as well as the ice.

An original bag of from 40 years ago made in to cake!

I even created a 'cookie' horse feed, each piece individually shaped to look like their horse feed 🙈.

Everything is handpainted and edible and delicious, even the wood planks!

✨️ NINTY ✨️

There's something about this cake that makes me emotional.

The brief was to make a cake shaped like a '90' with a farmer in overalls, his farm, river, flowers and local weeds (NZ's will get this 🤣) his dog, his family, rugby jerseys, his school symbol, his tractor & bike, plus a milk tank.

At first I thought how the heck am I going to be able to combine all these things in away that is peaceful, impactful and tells his story without being a chaotic mess haha! So I created this scene of a farmer looking over his land.

What a blessing to turn 90 and be surrounded with so much love to pass on what you have worked your whole life for.

Excuse me why I have a little cry haha! 🥹🥰
