Honestly, I was SO shocked by these beautiful gifts 🥹❤️💐

After making a wedding cake for a lovely couple, I was very unexpectedly gifted these gorgeous flowers and the sweetest little card as a thank you.

I really wasn’t expecting anything at all, so it honestly took me by surprise. It meant more to me than they will ever know. 🥹❤️

When you put so much love into what you do, little gestures like this remind you just how special it is to be part of someone’s big day.

Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and kind. I’m truly grateful, and I feel very lucky to do what I do. ❤️

It’s not just about the cakes, it’s about the people, the memories and the little moments of kindness that make it all worthwhile. 🥰

Just a little heads-up for this week, lovely people…

We’re having a tiny little tweak to our opening time and will be opening at 9.30am instead of our usual time. ⏰

Don’t worry… we haven’t gone all fancy and decided on a lie-in! 😂🙈 There’s just a few things going on behind the scenes this week, so we’re giving ourselves that extra half hour to get everything ready, baked, brewed and looking suitably yellow! 💛☕🍰

So if you’re heading our way, just remember…

9.30am = doors open, coffee on, cakes ready and smiles hopefully switched on! 😂

We know that supporting a small business is a choice. You could buy your coffee anywhere. You could grab your cake from anywhere. So when you choose The Cake Bakerie, it honestly means more than you probably realise. 🥹

Every visit, every order, every recommendation, every share, every lovely message and every “see you tomorrow!” helps keep our little yellow haven going. 💛
