​The Cake Shed is officially reopening the first weekend of October, and to celebrate, I’m giving away a £20 voucher to spend on whatever treats you fancy from the shed!

Time for a confession, and no, you will not be able to persuade me otherwise on any of these, my taste buds just refuse to cooperate 🙈. As a baker, people are always completely caught off guard when I tell them my list, especially when I say I can’t stand cinnamon rolls! Smell lovely, but actually eating one? Absolutely not for me.

​Managing buttercream in extreme heat is always a race against the clock. Love how those neat drop lines and Lambeth-style piping came out. That deep shade of blue is so rich alongside the stars and handmade black chocolate buttons! 💙✨

Public service announcement for all my fellow multitaskers! Do NOT attempt to walk down a wooden staircase in socks with no banister while brushing your teeth.
​Today, I managed to fall from the absolute top of the stairs all the way to the bottom, bouncing off every single step like a literal cartoon character. And for the grand finale....once I finally crashed at the bottom, I looked up to see my toothpaste gracefully smearing its way all down the wall. 10/10 ex*****on.
​Don't worry, I'm okay, just rather bruised! Consider this your daily reminder to do one thing at a time. 🤣🤣
