It’s taken 20 months. Yes, nearly 2 years, but today marks the day that the Sourdough Dave Family have gone on holiday!!! 😱😱😱. Do not fret THE SHOP AND CAFE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL, thanks to the amazing team we have. ❤️. It’s taken a LOT to get things in place behind the scenes, but we actually did it!!!! We’re off to try and find some half decent bread in France!!!! 🤣😜🥖🥐🍞🧀🥂

We know, it’s SCORCHING hot!! Give a round of applause to our bakery team in this heat!! We’ve had to adapt the way things work in our kitchen this week will the bakery team working through the night and we love ‘em for it. We’re trying to adapt outside seating so that more people can be sat in the shade, and we ARE getting AIR CONDITIONING put in by the end of July. Until then we are coping, smiling, serving and generally just being our fabulous selves all be it with core temperatures rising!!

Ideas anyone? We’re planning to set up a place in our cafe/shop where people can purchase a bit of our menu to take home with them. Think Persian humous, in-house fermented kimchi, sourdough pizza dough, cultured butters, slaws, krauts, pickles, sandwiches, juices, booster shots, cold brews, iced tea, salads……the list goes on and on.
