Ideas anyone? We’re planning to set up a place in our cafe/shop where people can purchase a bit of our menu to take home with them. Think Persian humous, in-house fermented kimchi, sourdough pizza dough, cultured butters, slaws, krauts, pickles, sandwiches, juices, booster shots, cold brews, iced tea, salads……the list goes on and on. It would be amazing to get you, our customers and followers to contribute to our ideas and would love to hear them! Drop us a comment below and let’s see!!! 🙌🏻

Just to say…… we are open as normal. We obviously don’t expect to be particularly busy, but if you do get out of the house for some air, there’s a friendly face and a hot cup of something for you, and bread and the full menu, if you really want! Deliveries are not happening today, but your bread will be kept at the shop for you if you want to collect it. No worries if not, we completely get it, and you won’t be charged obviously! We are very lucky that all our staff today live very close and could walk to work! Enjoy a snow everyone ###

Hers a few pictures of Sarah singing about real bread…………😂 Right, I know its getting very close to the BIG DAY, but it’s time to give a massive shout out to my amazing wife Sarah (Sourdough Sarah if you like) who’s got another BIG DAY coming up very soon. She’s not just been dedicating her time to the Sourdough Dave business recently. For the past 4 months she’s been rehearsing for a MASSIVE panto at SHEFFIELD CITY HALL. She’s got an incredible part in it……THE QUEEN, and we as a family can’t wait to see her perform. I know lots of our customers have bought tickets and talked to her about it in the shop, but she’s just informed me that there are some tickets still available. I know she would love it if you went to see it. It’s on from 28th December to 4th January and from the bits I’ve seen I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Here’s the link to book. Now we might not be able to predict the weather, or how busy our establishment will be this coming Saturday, but what I can predict is the crew that is the sourdough cyclists will be meeting this Saturday 6th December at around 8:30am AND they will be joined by Sourdough Dave himself!!! It’s only taken a year! 😂 This also means therefore that they will be celebration in order to make 1 year of the cycle meet ups, and we’ve even organised a few little awards for them.
