Cosy comfort food is back on the menu starting this week!

Whether its our warm potted crab in a shallot, caper, and cornichon butter with toasted sourdough or the hot bowl of the week (this week it's a pancetta & herb sausage cassoulet), this is your sign to get to the bakery this week for the perfect autumnal lunch.

Some familiar favourites are back too- our vintage cheddar and kimchee toastie and shakshuka with poached egg, nduja, feta, & pink pickled onions have made a return!

It’s taken 20 months. Yes, nearly 2 years, but today marks the day that the Sourdough Dave Family have gone on holiday!!! 😱😱😱. Do not fret THE SHOP AND CAFE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL, thanks to the amazing team we have. ❤️. It’s taken a LOT to get things in place behind the scenes, but we actually did it!!!! We’re off to try and find some half decent bread in France!!!! 🤣😜🥖🥐🍞🧀🥂

We know, it’s SCORCHING hot!! Give a round of applause to our bakery team in this heat!! We’ve had to adapt the way things work in our kitchen this week will the bakery team working through the night and we love ‘em for it. We’re trying to adapt outside seating so that more people can be sat in the shade, and we ARE getting AIR CONDITIONING put in by the end of July. Until then we are coping, smiling, serving and generally just being our fabulous selves all be it with core temperatures rising!!
