Polite notice..

Sorry i have been slow on responses today I've spent most of the day in hospital with my eldest son who is now back in hospital again after being sent home twice.

Sorry for the delayed responses/messages, I've had so much going on this week and it's only Tuesday! My eldest son is poorly and was in hospital yesterday and has had to go back in today as his symptoms have worsened and I had to rush my daughter to A&E at 7am this morning after she had some form of allergic reaction.

I'm doing my best to stay consistent but just thought I'd update as to the reasons why I can't always reply straight away, I'm dealing with a lot right now.

Rewind 6 years ..I was furloughed from my fulltime office job, with new found time on my hands, I picked up my love of baking.

Initially I started making afternoon teas for family & friends and not long after I was getting a huge customer base of people ordering for relatives to cheer them up during lockdown.

The recipes weren't perfect, but the passion was there and I knew that this was something I wanted to do forever. I made the huge decision to not go back to my job and take on Delight Bites fulltime.

With nothing but a dream, I woke up every single day and poured my whole heart and soul into making a successful business.

I soon went from a few customers, to hundreds to now thousands over a the 6 years. I have built not just a business, but i have created something that helps provide for my family and pay for my bills.

This is not a big corporate business, with a huge business premises, and big team, it is just me singlehandedly running a business for 6 years and I am truly so proud of how far i have come ❤️
