🎃🎄 A little update from Delight Bites… 🎄🎃

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision that for the first time in 6 years, I won’t be offering my usual themed Halloween or Christmas items this year.

This hasn’t been an easy decision. Every year I absolutely love creating all the Halloween treats, Christmas Eve boxes, cupcakes, treat boxes and festive goodies for you all, and I’m incredibly grateful for how busy you keep me. ❤️

But this year, I need to do something a little differently.

Running a small business can mean that the busiest and most special times of the year are often the times I’m working the most. Before I know it, Halloween has passed in a blur and Christmas has been spent rushing around the kitchen trying to get everybody else’s celebrations ready.

My children are growing up far too quickly, and I’ve realised that I need to give myself permission to slow down and spend some much-needed quality time with my family and actually make those memories with them. 🥹❤️

Delight Bites will still be here, and I’ll still be taking my usual cake and catering orders around these periods depending on availability — I just won’t be launching dedicated Halloween or Christmas ranges this year.

Six years of Christmas chaos in the Delight Bites kitchen has given me some amazing memories, but this year I’m choosing a little more family time. 🎄❤️

Thank you, as always, for supporting not only my little business but the person and family behind it too.

Sometimes as a small business owner, you have to remember that you can make more money, but you can’t make more time. ❤️
