A special one for a book lover celebrating her 50th birthday ✨

Her colours were brown, ivory and gold, and I loved bringing her love of books into a cake that still felt soft and elegant. The book spines were all handmade from sugar paste and were such a lovely detail to create.

Definitely one of those cakes that felt extra personal to make.
