One week into our holiday already - where does the time go 🏖️ ☀️

Socials have been very quiet but trying to catch up this afternoon.

Some of our creations before we headed off.

Our diary is now open and we have plenty of availability for the rest of 2026 (3 months left…crazy!!)

I will officially be back to work from the 1st September.

Going into week 3 of the summer holidays.

Aren’t we lucky with the gorgeous weather we are having- let’s hope it continues.
Definitely makes entertaining the children a lot easier being outdoors!

Socials have definitely taken a back seat, I hardly get a minute.

Last week of work before I get to enjoy a whole 2 weeks off, I can’t wait.

I will still be on messages and trying to keep up whilst I’m away in a morning or evening, and keep a look out for our summer cake offers.

What a busy week last week.

Sorry for a couple of mix ups regarding collections (some delays dis not help the matter)

Also regarding collections, as I operate my business from home, there are times I am not in (school drop offs and pick ups, and the children having activities in an evening) I will try my best to accommodate convenient times but there are some I am unable to do.

Also weekend Saturday collections are mornings only. Having three children we have a very busy family life so I can not be around in the middle of the day.

The children break up this week - where has that time gone?!
So my working hours from next week will look a bit different and I will be spending most of my days out entertaining them over the next few weeks before enjoying a couple of weeks off.

Please bear with me, with messages & phone calls. Messaging is the best way to get a reply, trying to get to the phone with the kids around can be a nightmare (I don’t get a minute)

Keep a look out for our summer offer coming in August.

Even when I’m off I will still have my diary and phone with me to take any bookings.

Last weekends wedding cake, delivered to the outskirts of Buxton.

3 tiers finished with a rustic iced finish and red marbling and edible gold leaf

Wedding season in full swing with some more weddings to come over the next few weeks

I have been so rubbish lately at taking photos - I blame the hot weather.

As much as I enjoy the lovely sunny weather, it’s not great when you’re baking.

Please remember when collecting cakes -
• have the air con on full blast

• cake needs to be kept flat ( in the boot , footwell or held) not on the seats

• go straight home, don’t leave the cake in the car for any period of time - it will melt!

• when you get home put the cake in the fridge

Never put the cake in direct sunlight, all cakes are held with buttercream and butter melts.

Prior to collection all cakes are kept in the fridge.

On another note we have the odd last minute availability over the next couple of weeks before we enjoy a couple of weeks away in August.

So for any cake enquiries please give us a message.

Our buffets have also been very busy lately too, so just ask for any information on those two.
