Here’s to the last year in my 20’s and to another caterpillar cake! 🐛

Of course I can’t bake my own cake but I have had a busy day baking for everyone else’s birthdays this week!

Last weekends wedding cake in full.

3 tiers of sponge cake -
Salted caramel
Chocolate orange
Lemon & rapsberry

With a semi naked finish and a burnt orange coloured drop to tie in with the colour scheme.
Dress with some dried flowers, macaroons and personalised topper.
Delivered and set up at Morley Hayes.

And to top it off I recieved this lovely message from the newly weds.

I know it’s early but I have to be prepared.

Let’s talk C H R I S T M A S 🎅🏼

I am getting my menu organised and wondering if there is anything you would like me to include.

For now I will be doing -

- 6” marzipan & ice topped Christmas fruit cakes £18

- a variety of the weekend cakes ( Victoria sponge, chocolate orange, Black Forest ect) in the clear little boxes £10 each

- iced chocolate oranges (Rudolph & Santa ) come presented in a clear box £10 each

- festive buttercream cupcakes 6 or 12 £12 or £20

- mini bagged Christmas cakes £4 each

- 6” Rudolph cake £30 but possible option of a change to Santa - I’ll attach a photo of an example (not by me)

- Christmas Eve boxes?? Who would like these and what to include? Prices to be confirmed

Our buffets are flying out at the moment and we have lots booked in through September & October.

Aswell as our three buffets that we offer regularly we are going to offer a special Christmas buffet through November and December (subject to availability)

The Christmas buffet will offer a range of festive fillings
- Brie & Cranberry
- Chicken & Stuffing
- Sausage & Bacon with caramelised onion chutney (pigs in blankets)
Our usual fillings will also be available.

Sausage rolls, mini sausages, scotch eggs, pork pies, cheese & onion rolls, pizza & quiche.

Sundays wedding cake.

An 8” buttercream cake with artificial flowers a mr and mrs topper with a very cute bride and groom figures.

This cake was also accompanied with burgundy and white cupcakes all in individual domes which are perfect for your guest to take away.

Another wedding cake to come this coming weekend.

Black & Gold 18th Birthday cake.

Two tier buttercream cake with edible gold leaf, hand tied gold bow, decorative gold balls topped with an acrylic gold 18th topper.

So last week I popped home from holiday for a couple of days to get this large order completed before getting the train back down to resume my break away.

This was an order for 650 vanilla cupcakes all topped with the companies logo, celebrating 25 years.

We are currently out of the kitchen for a couple of weeks, however I do have a couple of orders I will be doing in between, but otherwise I will properly be back to baking with new orders from the 9th September.

I will be keeping on top of all messages and I have a couple of special offers/ a raffle coming soon.

No cake related, but I thought I would share these.

Our pet bunny recently had 9 baby bunnies. They are mini lops.
We have found 3 homes but still have 6 looking for their new homes.
I’ll attach photos of the ones we have left.

We have a big tennis background and now the younger ones are getting into it, his request this year was for a cake in the shape of a racket and he loved it! 🎾

Second wedding cake of the weekend - delivered and set up at Horsley Lodge.

3 tier buttercream cake with a sage green / white ombré effect with gold leaf and fresh flowers.

We are now taking bookings for 2025/26 wedding cakes. Don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss further details.

As off tomorrow work will be one a little bit of a juggle for the next few weeks with the kids being at home so please bare with me. I will aim to be working more in an evening and not so much in the daytime whilst I wear them out!
