Today, I am struggling to find the words.
When I opened La Gelateria della Luna, I had a dream of bringing authentic Italian gelato to the heart of Fulham. There were long days, sleepless nights, endless challenges, and moments where I wondered whether I could keep going.
Today, I received the news that we have been shortlisted for Micro, Nano or Sole Trader Business of the Year at the H&F Business Awards 2026.
To be selected as one of the finalists from 160 applications is something I never imagined would happen so soon.
As a single mum and an independent business owner, this means more than I can put into words. Every scoop of gelato, every coffee served, every smile, and every kind review has helped us reach this moment.
Thank you to every customer who has walked through our doors, supported a local business, recommended us to friends, and believed in our little dream. This recognition belongs to all of you as much as it does to us.
Whatever happens on 17 September, we already feel like winners.
