And what an exciting, mad, funny and rewarding 6 years it has been!! 😎
I’ve met so many amazing artists and crafters when attending artisan markets and craft fairs, plus so many of you have supported my weekend artisan markets Natural World Centre at Whisby nature reserve. (These markets are also 6 years old!!)
A big thank you to all of my customers that have purchased my work at markets and also those of you that have challenged me to produce commissioned art work……..and hundreds of you are repeat customers that come to find me and have a chat at various events.
I’m very grateful to make a living being creative, something that’s different every day and doing something that I love…….thank you.

It’s the start of the Lincolnshire Artisan market weekend at The Natural World Centre at Whisby nature reserve, Thorpe on the Hill, Lincoln.
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August
Open 9.30pm to 4pm each day.
We have a wide range of arts and craft stalls, displaying some amazing handmade items.
The centre also has a large cafe/restaurant, a children’s play area and an artisan shop.
The event is FREE and we are Pet friendly!!
So, if you are in the Lincoln area, pop in for a chat and a browse of all of the stalls 😎

3 Metal Garden Robin bodies that I’ve made today.
These are now ready to either mount an a steel spike to stick in garden plant pots 🪴, or….
Weld onto a steel shepherds crook for hanging bird feeders or lanterns, or…..
Being welded into some other garden sculpture.
Btw…..the long metal arms that come from where the beaks will be, are how I clamp the Robins into a vice during welding.

We are starting to ‘zoom in’ on the Lincolnshire Artisan market weekend, taking place at The Natural World Centre, Whisby nature reserve in Lincoln.
Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August
Open 9.30am - 4.00pm on both days
The event will showcase a range of arts and crafts from numerous artists and crafters from around Lincolnshire……an ideal opportunity to pick up some quality, handmade items!!
The Natural World Centre is also celebrating 🥳 it’s 25th anniversary this year, so another good reason to come and have a look around!!
Our artisan markets are always FREE entry and we are pet friendly.
There is a FREE to enter raffle for any visitors to the artisan market over the weekend as well.

A WWII Air Ministry Case Transit Ref no 10D/1F/80 for a crystal display type 2, upcycled to make a very unique table lamp.
This box contains electrical components that allowed for 6 Radio frequencies to be pre-set for use with Radio, Wireless and Radar equipped that was carried by one of two WWII era British bomber aircraft….
The AVRO Lancaster bomber
OR
The Vickers-Armstrongs Wellington bomber
Both aircraft used this technology.
I have sympathetically cleaned up the wooden case and protected the patina / air ministry lettering using a few coats of acrylic lacquer.
Definitely a unique item.

An undercarriage test kit for a RAF Tornado F3 jet fighter aircraft, upcycled to produce this military table lamp.
I have left all of the service and calibration labels on the main aluminium case, that show all of the dates / timeline of the item.
A unique table lamp for anyone with an interest in military aircraft.

A pair of mid-century road oil lamps, that have been upcycled to produce electrical table or hanging lamps.
The natural, aged patina has been cleaned to remove the loose yellow paint and then the surface has been sealed with clear, acrylic lacquer.
The orange filters give a room a nice gentle glow.
