Easter is on its way, so why not treat yourself to one of our homemade triple chocolate cheesecakes. A white chocolate cheesecake dribbled in dark chocolate and served in a milk chocolate Easter egg 😋😋😋😋😋 Available to eat in or take away and orders can be taken for Easter Weekend xx Also on the menu is our regular savouries and cakes:-

At Violet's we pride ourselves in offering homemade savories and cakes as well as locally sourced meats, cheeses and breads all served on our beautiful vintage china.

With Autumn upon us, at Violet's this coming Friday 24th we will be having our own Harvest Festival 🎃
Why not come along and try a free sample of our homemade Butternut Squash Soup or buy one of our homemade Family Size Fruit Pies or Crumbles.
Get the kids involved to by getting them to draw/colour their best scarecrow. There will be prizes for the best in each category 3-5 years, 6-8 years and 9-10 years. (Entries need to be in by midday on Sunday 26th September)
The main reason for our Harvest Festival is to raise money and food items for our local Food Bank. There will be a £1 entry fee for the colouring competition and this along with all the profits of the sale of our Pies/Crumbles will go to the charity. We will also have a collection bucket and a box for any food/non food items you're able to donate. A list of items that can be donated can be found on the Trussell Trust website https://www.trusselltrust.org/get-help/emergency-food/food-parcel/

So come and join us this weekend for a celebration of this lovely time of year.

Hi everyone, hope you're all keeping well.

Just a reminder that we are offering our home cooked Roast Dinner again this Sunday and for those who fancy something a bit different we are also offering our Taste of America🗽, 2 Butchers Burgers, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and American mustard all served in a toasted Brioche Bun with a portion of our American Fries, homemade Coleslaw and a Corn on the Cob.

As well as our normal desserts we will be serving our homemade New York Cheesecake.

Hi everyone, hope you've had a lovely weekend.
Just a reminder that we could really do with your comments on our Planning Application. I am so grateful to the 2000+ people that signed our petition but on its own this may not be enough, we now need to have your comments (in support or not) to be added to the Braintree Council Planning Portal or sent by email/letters.
