This cake was for a returning customer Eleanor, I made her Easter birthday cake in April. So was honoured to be asked to make her husbands birthday cake. Eleanor had lots of things she wanted to incorporate in this cake and a particular design in mind. I then elaborated and built on the idea. So it’s a four season traditional fruit cake covered in marzipan and icing. Each side of the cake and top of the cake represents what her and Colin did each season since his last birthday. Summer they went to ascot, autumn they went to Venice, winter a safari, spring they went dancing. On top of the cake is a elephant, dancing lady and man, Italy flag, gondola, top hat and edible printed money. Absolutely loved making this cake and my creativity has been pushed to create something even more spectacular than her last cake. 🏇🏻🎩💃🏻🕺🏻🐘🇮🇹

Yesterday’s birthday cake for my youngest mazie who was 8. She had a disco themed birthday party, and being my biggest critic and cake fan I knew had to do something extra special. So I went with a 2 tiered cake, with a disco floor, dancing mazie, dancing silhouettes and a disco ball. She absolutely loved it!

My daughter Megan’s birthday cake. She isn’t a lover of fondant and wanted a cake like she had eaten in London. So of course I was up for the challenge. So here it is a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and layered with cookie dough pieces and crushed Oreo pieces. Then covered in Oreo buttercream and topped with more Oreos, cookie dough, salted caramel drizzle and chocolate drizzle. A totally caloric cake. Happy birthday meg! 🎂

Cupcake surprise! 24 cupcakes these were for Bens birthday and to reveal his surprise birthday gift, a trip to Budapest. What a great way to combine cupcakes and a birthday surprise. Cupcake cases even in colours of the Hungary 🇭🇺.
