We bake simply amazing gingerbread products. Grantham Gingerbread biscuits are quite simply stunning biscuits. it is a piece of our culinary heritage.

Our gingerbread recipes are all individually crafted with their unique spice blends creating ultimate eating experiences. They are unique in as far as they are white gingerbread as opposed to the more commonly available dark gingerbread which is made with treacle. With Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to give you a quick update on our Christmas order deadlines.

We’ve now sold out of our famous Italian Lemon Gingerbread Men, and we’re running low on all remaining stock. To avoid disappointment, please place your order as soon as possible.

Once we reach our final Christmas cut-off dates, or sell out entirely, we won’t be able to restock in time for the festive season.

Did you know...?

In 2016 Hawkens Gingerbread created a towering 13ft (4m) Gingerbread Santa Grotto in Northampton crafted around a timber frame using 3,050 handmade tiles, 2000kg of gingerbread and produced by a team of 11 bakers who baked for 240 hours in total.

Its sheer scale meant it was rumoured to be one of the largest gingerbread grottos ever built in the UK — perhaps even one of the largest recorded anywhere.

A true showcase of festive engineering.

Did you know...?

The Christmas Tree tradition is hundreds of years old? The idea began in Germany, where families decorated evergreen trees with apples, nuts and little gingerbread biscuits (our favourite part, naturally!). But when Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were pictured standing proudly beside their tree in 1848, the whole of Britain fell in love with the tradition and the rest is history.

Today, the Christmas Tree has become a glowing symbol of warmth, celebration, and togetherness… and occasionally delicious gingerbread decorations!
