We’re packing up the bakery and heading to Burghley! 🤎

This Bank Holiday weekend, you’ll find Little Village Bakery at the Burghley Summer Fine Food Market for three whole days of brilliant independent food, local producers and, of course, plenty of freshly baked treats.

A little bakery break… 🤎
After what has been a whirlwind few weeks, we’re taking the next two Saturdays off to slow down, spend some much-needed time with family, and take a moment to appreciate everything that’s happened since opening our doors.

The response to our little pop up bakery has been more than we could have hoped for. We’re still learning, adapting and finding our feet as we go, and we’re incredibly grateful to every single person who has visited, shared our posts, told a friend or simply cheered us on from the sidelines.

So, for the next couple of weeks, the ovens will be having a little rest too. 🍞

Our pop-up will be closed Saturday 22nd & Saturday 29th August, but we’ll be back refreshed, rested and ready to welcome you all again in September.

We have some exciting news to share... 🤎
We’re incredibly proud to say that one of our sausage rolls has been recognised with a Great Taste Award.

Our Apple, Fennel & Chilli Sausage Roll has been awarded by the Great Taste judges….an achievement that means so much to us as a small, independent bakery.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey so far. Whether you’ve visited the bakery, stopped by one of our markets, or simply cheered us on from afar, this is a moment we’re so grateful to celebrate with you.

Now...if you haven’t tried our award-winning sausage roll yet, we think it’s about time. 😉🥇🍞

We just wanted to say... thank you. 🤎

The support we’ve received since opening our pop up bakery has been more than we ever imagined. Every visit, every kind word, every recommendation, and every familiar face walking through our doors means the world to us.

We’re learning as we go, listening to your feedback, adapting where we can, and doing everything possible to make each Saturday even better than the last. Building a little village bakery has always been about creating something special for our community, and we’re so grateful to have you on this journey with us.

If you haven’t visited us yet, we’d love to welcome you this Saturday. We’ll be open from 9:30am–1:30pm, with freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes, and plenty of treats waiting for you.

Trust the process... doughnut edition. 🍩🤎

From mixing and proving to filling, glazing, and the final dusting, every doughnut takes a little patience (and a lot of taste testing along the way... purely for quality control, of course 😉).

The best things are never rushed, and we think they’re worth the wait.

Golden, flaky, and fresh from the oven… 🤎
Our veggie sausage rolls have quickly become a bakery favourite.

Layers of buttery pastry wrapped around a delicious veggie filling, baked until perfectly golden proving the classics can be just as good without the meat.

Perfect for slow mornings, picnic lunches, or picking up as a little treat while you’re out and about. 🌿
