Up bright and early today to try beat the heatwave later 🔥

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love the heat. Unfortunately buttercream cakes are not in the same camp. So today I started at 6am in an attempt to get all my cakes stacked and covered before the heat turns up later ☀️

If your collecting a cake this week:

🚗 Turn on the Air Con in your car and keep it nice and cool for the duration of the journey.

🧊 Once you’ve collected the cake, take it straight home or to the venue where it should be kept in the fridge until your celebration.

📸 When displaying a cake, keep it in a cool shaded location. Heat can cause the buttercream to melt and nobody wants cake soup!

😋 Bring to room temperature before eating. Ideally remove from the fridge 1 hour before you plan to cut.
