The Milky Way - Fife Breastfeeding Cafe- Dunfermline The Milky Way is a breastfeeding cafe in Dunfermline. It is held at Duloch Library (in the Craft Room) on Thursday mornings from 1030am-12noon Pregnant?

The Milky Way Cafe is an informal group of mums that meet in Dunfermline at Carnegie Primary School, 10.30am - 12noon Fridays term-time. The early days nursing your new baby can be an anxious time. This breastfeeding group provides a place to relax and share experiences with other mums who have been in a similar position. Anyone who feels they would benefit from a little breastfeeding boost is wel

come, as well as those that feel they can lend a supportive ear. Studies have shown that spending time with breastfeeding mothers and infants in the year before your baby arrives increases your chances of successful nursing. It is free to attend, although the odd coin for tea, biscuits etc is welcome :)

As the image says, huge apologies but we can;t manage the group tomorrow (May 7th) at 10am as previously advertised. Groups are predominantly run by volunteers, and on this occasion something has come up that can't be avoided. We hope to be back next week as usual!

Huge apologies for the short notice group cancellation - as you may know, our groups are run mostly by volunteers, and things will sometimes happen overnight that mean we can't run.

In the short term, please contact the National Breastfeeding Helpline UK or pop over to our linktree for groups across Fife and also lots of handy resources.

We can support with establishing breastfeeding, painful feeds, normal infant behaviour, validation of how you feel, stopping breastfeeding, what to expect before your baby arrives… all sorts!

Please see attached post for details of tomorrow's closure - we are so sad not to be able to run group tomorrow and we hate to leave you hanging at the last moment, but sadly needs must sometimes. We realy on volunteers to run the majority of our groups and sometimes life happens 😢

We will definitely be at Cowdenbeath Breastfeeding Support Group on Friday at 1pm, please come and see us sif yu need support, and please remember you can call the 24/7 either in person or via messenger
