🤍 A MOMENT FOR OUR WEDDING CAKE 🤍

Some wedding dreams begin long before the proposal… and this was one of mine. 🥹

I’ve been in love with vintage Victorian Lambeth-style cakes for years. Working in the wedding industry, I always admired their timeless elegance and incredible details. So when my Paul proposed, there was never a question about what our wedding cake would look like. I had my heart set on this style long before I even had a ring on my finger! 🤍

And our wonderful cake lady, Sarah Julia Florence Cake Design / Sarah Reilly brought that dream to life beyond anything I could have imagined!

From our very first consultation, Sarah was absolutely incredible. She reassured me that she could create exactly what I envisioned and even prepared around 12 different flavours for us to try. Every single one was delicious! 😍

And just look at this masterpiece! The delicate piping, the pearls, our initials… every tiny detail was perfection. Not only did it look absolutely breathtaking, but it tasted incredible too!

Sarah even made sure we had plenty of cake saved in the freezer so we could enjoy it again after returning from our honeymoon. Such a thoughtful little touch! 🥹

Sarah, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You’re not only incredibly talented, but genuinely one of the loveliest, kindest people to work with. Your communication, care and attention to detail were exceptional from beginning to end.

I couldn’t recommend you highly enough! 🤍

A cake I dreamed of for years, made even more special by the person who created it. ✨

I genuinely can’t believe I’ve made it through to the Regional Finals for The Wedding Industry Awards once again 🥹

I’m incredibly proud, but what makes this even more special is knowing that my couples are the reason I’m here. The awards are based on their votes and feedback, so every single one means a huge amount to me.

To everyone who took the time to vote and share their experience, thank you so much for supporting me- Truly. I’m so lucky to have such brilliant couples trust me with their wedding days 🫶🏼

I’m also really looking forward to celebrating with so many of my wedding industry friends who have made it through too!! I can’t believe I’m even writing this!

A huge thank you to my couples for taking the time to vote for me, and for trusting me with such an important part of your wedding day. Without you, your support and the lovely words you’ve shared about my work, I wouldn’t be here. 🤍

I’m incredibly grateful to have simply made it to this stage. Whether I come away with an award on the night or not, being a Regional Finalist and shortlisted for Best Newcomer feels like such a huge achievement, especially when I think about how far I’ve come over the last 18 months.

And a massive thank you to all of the incredible suppliers I’ve worked alongside. I’ve met so many amazing people along the way, and some who I’m now lucky enough to call friends. 🥹

I’m honestly so emotional and grateful. Looking back at how far I’ve come, how much hard work, passion and love I’ve poured into The Rustic Corner, moments like this mean EVERYTHING! 🥹
