So the pictures from Ticknall Village Fete!

On Bank Holiday I set up for my stall! I was raising money for Cats Protection. I was located next to the bouncy castle and everything was going swimmingly I was getting plenty of custom from bouncing kids and their parents. However half way through the day their generator packed in and my stall became a distinct backwater! It was quite dispiriting but some things are out of my control and you have to make peace with them 😊

Within 90 minutes the bouncy castle came back up and my customers started coming! I raised £140 for Cats Protection!

Another Successful day at Ticknall Village Fete!

So last weekend marked 5 years of Ticknall Village Fete and Sophie's Charity bakes!

Ticknall Village Fete was one of the very first market stalls I was offered back in 2022 which was mad! At the time I couldn't believe I had scored such a big event! It was also my first ever sell out market stall and I was so happy I cried! Over the years I have raised money for HeartLink , Papyrus , Whales and Dolphins Association, Leicester Animal Aid and Cats Protection.

It's always one of the biggest events of the year and this was no different hopefully we can make it 6 years in a row 👌🏻👌🏻

So round 2 tomorrow!!! All ready with another set of bakes to raise money for Cats Protection at Ticknall village Fete 11-4pm Monday 4th!

The weather appears to be dry if a little cloudy fairly perfect conditions ( I sometimes loose custom to ice cream of it's too nice 😆)!

I will be taking:

Jammy Dodger Cupcakes
Double Chocolate Cupcakes (these sold out on Saturday)
Orange and Vanilla vegan Cupcakes
Banoffee Cupcakes
Cherry Bakewell Cupcakes

As well as Gluten Free tiffin

All £2 each or 3 for £5 with cash and card payments accepted!

We had a really good Saturday fingers crossed for tomorrow!

A great first day of the bank holiday weekend at Leicester Forest East Library May day Plant Sale!

All profits will be added up at the end of the weekend but thank you to everyone that bought a cake this was all that was left 😝

So tomorrow I am at Leicester Forest East Library for their May plant Sale! 11-2pm

I will be donating all my profits to the Cats Protection Charity Oxford 😊

Pictured here are some of the cupcakes that are coming with me!

First up Jammy dodger cupcakes! A vanilla sponge , jam centre , vanilla buttercream jam drizzle and shortbread shards 😍

Second is the berry cheese cake cupcake with a berry sponge , cheese cake icing and drizzled with raspberries 👌🏻

Third is the Orange and Vanilla vegan/dairy free option because vegan cakes can look pretty too! This is a orange sponge , vanilla buttercream , orange zest and jam to decorate like a flower 🌺

Finally an old favourite double chocolate! A dark chocolate sponge , chocolate ganache icing and white chocolate decorations 😛

All these cakes as well as my gluten free tiffin are £2 each or 3 for £5 on sale tomorrow!

I have two stalls this weekend where more lovely baking spreads like this one will be on sale 😨😨!

This week I am at Leicester Forest East Library for their plant stall on the 2nd of May!

And then on Bank holiday Monday(4th) I am back at one of my favourites Ticknall Village fete!

This weekend we are supporting the Cats Protection charity which my sister volunteers for 😊.

This time last weekend I was up enjoying the sunshine and decorating a special order for a 60th Birthday cake!

This lady wanted one of the classics a victoria sponge cake so it's filled with whipped double cream and jam and topped with beautifully piped buttercream 👌🏻🥰!

I was very pleased with my creation! I still need to donate the money to a specific charity but for now enjoy the photos and the sunshine 👌🏻☀️☀️

So the fundraising total from my Easter Stall at Moira Furnace ! I completely sold out of all my baked goods and thanks to everyone and few extra donations I have raised £95 for Cuan Wildlife rescue charity 🥰😝!!

The stall looked great with hot cross buns as a new addition as well as all the Easter favourites!

The next stall is Ticknall Village Fete in May crazy only 2 more to go before summer .

Thank you again Moira for a sell out sunny day (excluding the 20 minutes of Hail) !

I have finally found 5 minutes to sort out my charity donation! So thanks to a bumper March consisting of 2 big cakes for a 90th birthday and Kirby Muxloe's first community market I have donated £110 to little Beam Charity!

Start the year as we mean to go on! I have another cake order for Monday and Moira Easter fair on Easter Sunday so stay tuned as always bakers!
