I was asked by my hubby to make this for a work colleagues daughter who was going to be 16 years old. P Louise he said and to be completely honest id never heard of this. So anyway this is what we arrived at a madeira sponge with white chocolate buttercream, chocolate sauce and chocolate chips. Finished in a baby pink white chocolate ganache and drip. It was a really lovely cake to do... hope grace liked it...xx happy birthday x

A very special wedding buffet by simply cakes and traybakes.
What a wonderful day!!
After lots of preparation, planning and a few sleepless nights, i was delighted to provide this buffet for this beautiful wedding.
From Homemade quiches, sausage rolls and chicken skewers too sandwiches, anti pasti boards, prawn cocktails, fresh fruits and delicious little treats - it was a pleasure to put this together for such a beautiful occasion.
And the best part is....it went down a storm!!😀

A huge thankyou to the bride and groom for trusting simply cakes to be part of their special day. It was am absolute pleasure and something im incredibly proud of.
