Welcome to the online home of Lansdowne Bakery! We are a traditional bakery (est. 1839) based in Bude, Cornwall, producing an extensive range of handmade products. We make and sell classic breads, sourdoughs, Cornish pasties, scones, cakes, buns, doughnuts, pastries and confectionery.

Thank you to everyone who visited us this half term! 👨‍🍳 We've loved seeing so many familiar and new faces through our doors. If you're travelling home this weekend, don't forget to pick up some yummy treats for the journey! 🚗

From freshly baked sourdough and croissants to Cornish pasties and sausage rolls, we've got plenty to keep everyone happy this Saturday. Open from 8AM to 4PM. 🥐🍰😋

Throwback Thursday! This photograph was taken in 1931. Mrs Sampson (the bakery’s then owner) standing in the garden of 14 Lansdown Road, with the bakery shop visible in the background. Mrs Sampson was 91 years old in this picture, and went on to live until the ripe old age of 98.

We currently have a job opening and are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person who can work 20-25 hours per week.

Job Duties:
-Assist in baking and preparing a variety of pasties, pies and cakes
-Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
-Serve customers with a smile and provide a great in-store experience
-Help with stock management and daily shop operations

What We’re Looking For:
-Previous bakery or food service experience is preferred (but not essential)
-Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic
-Team player with a positive attitude
-Able to work weekends and holidays
