A very special order leaving the kitchen today!

The request was for a cake to celebrate a 30th birthday, a love for the ACOTAR book series and recent engagement at Yoho Lake in Canada!

This was a 6 inch carrot cake featuring the stunning backdrop of Yoho Lake in buttercream with the top being a “night court” from the popular book series “A Court of Thorns and Roses”.
A few fondant books and the Illyrian wings, with a nod to the recent engagement!

Absolutely loved creating this design and putting it all together.
Congratulations to the couple and happy birthday to the birthday girl!

My most requested cake, the chocolate indulgence!
Three 6inch chocolate sponges, this time with a salted caramel filling, chocolate fudge coating, finished with chocolate buttercream, chocolate drip and the birthday girls favourite chocolate toppings!

It’s always a privilege to be asked to create a gender reveal cake and to be part of someone’s special day!

This order contained a 6 inch cake in neutral colours to hide the coloured sponge underneath, flavoured in vanilla with raspberry jam filling, vanilla bean buttercream and home made fondant toppers.

The couple also chose 12 cupcakes flavoured in lemon with a hidden gender reveal buttercream centre for their guests to enjoy!

Huge congratulations to this lovely couple and thank you again for letting me be a part of your special day!
