This weekend some of our volunteer Leaders spent the day giving our HQ a much needed spruce, with over 100 Scouting members using our HQ each week it’s not surprising it needs some tlc periodically.
This week as we start our new Scouting term we welcome back the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and all of our volunteers for another fab term of lots of fun and adventure.
A massive thank you to our volunteer Leaders for giving up your day off/family time to sort the HQ. Not all hero’s wear capes, some wear neckerchiefs. ⚜️

We’d like to wish a very happy 90th birthday to one of our volunteer Leaders - Eckla Andrews know in our Group as Beaver.
She’s an outstanding Leader and has been volunteering in Scouting for 40 years this year! We’re so pleased that not only is she still Scouting with us but we got to share her birthday with her too! Congratulations from us all!!! 🎉⚜️🍰

Before the summer holidays 50 members of our Group from ages 6-18yrs took part in our annual water sports day. Where they got to take part in Paddle boarding & kayaking, play lots of games on the water, have fun but also learn about important water safety. We love it when we can get all sections of our Group out on the water together. A fab time was had by all! 💦⚜️

We have limited places available in each of our sections starting in September and are adding names to our waitlist for joining in January.
