When I say processing bones is a slow process, I mean it.
I received this bear skull from a dear friend over two years ago. She'd had it buried in the ground and asked if I could create something for her on it. I told her it may take time, but I had no idea it would take this much time.
First photo is today; second photo was last July, after more than a year of degreasing. The first photo is what my client sent me before sending me this beautiful skull. I still have all of the pieces and teeth, things just get loose after so long in water.
I was struck today but how grateful I am for the trust a patience given to me by my clients. Thank you all for being here.
