Good morning my friends! Beautiful day with the sun out but chilly with the wind.

I wanted to share some news with you! There is a fundraiser going on this Saturday May 30th, starting at 10:30 am at the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Hall in Carleton Place. There is an awareness walk, auction, darts, BBQ etc. They are raising money for Prader-Willi Syndrome.

What is Prader-Willi Syndrome you ask? It is a rare genetic condition that affects the body, mind and behavior.

My friend Linda Jorgensen-Hartley' granddaughter Millie has this condition. This sweet, beautiful little angel has a heart of gold! She is so loving, spirited, radiant, full of energy, spunky girl. She doesn't let anything stop her from what she wants to do or accomplish!

So come on down and help out if you can! T-shirts will be available for sale, not to mention my yummy sugar cookies! Thank you for supporting such a wonderful cause. Your support no matter how small will make a HUGE difference!

Was such a beautiful day today! I hope you took the time to enjoy the sunshine even though there was abit of a cold wind.

I had a cookie order to do today, had some left over dough so decided to make something fun - made some cereal cup sugar cookies.

When I was young, If you didn't want to eat your cereal in a bowl, we sometimes ate it from a cup, it was easier to handle, we could concentrate on those Saturday morning cartoons, and have less spills with the milk. 🥛

I have froot loops, multigrain cheerios and reese's puff flavors, each come with their own plastic spoon. I only have eight of them available, $2.50 each if anyone is interested.
