It's been such a wonderful kickoff to market season, and I'm feeling so much gratitude and joy for the warm welcome I've received from this community.

New friendships, meaningful connections, and so many people cheering each other on and lifting one another up.

I truly had no idea what I was missing.

Now there's no going back for me. I'm here to stay ☺️🤗💖🧡

Hot soup at the market happening now! 🔥🥣

Ok I know it's cloudy and a little on the chilly side, or maybe sunny?? 🙆‍♀️ but if you come out I promise it'll be worth it. Hot soup, delicious treats from all sorts of unique vendors, and do a little shopping cuz why not it's Friday!

I have hot Roasted Asparagus Soup simmering on my table. I also have cold take-home soups, various gourmet cookies, mini pies, and 5-layer cheesecake bars.

With June on the horizon that means the menu is changing too, so these are the last I'm making of these flavours until next year! so if you've been meaning to try one or need to stock up, now's the chance!

Blueberry pie cookies got a little glow up 🫐✨

I've been workshopping pie cookies for a little bit now, and these ones turned out PERFECT!

Even though these have pie pieces in them and topped with a pie slice, it gives a bit of a breakfast cookie vibe.

Hey soup lover — you’ve come to the right place 🍲✨

As market season kicks off, I wanted to say a quick hello in case you’ve just just arrived. Welcome! I’m SO glad you’re here 🤍 this is where my fond love for homemade soups and bakes coexist 😌

It all started with my grand-maman Dupont, who made all sorts of soups and treats. My dad often shares stories about what she’d make and how she did it — often foraging in the forest or digging through the bottom of the freezer for farm bones and meat to see what could be whipped up to feed 9 hungry bellies.

Damn, girl. Respect. 🤝

I started my soup journey shortly after leaving home. Much like my grand-maman, I began experimenting with flavours, often trying to make a big batch of food with the little ingredients I had, just to stretch things out. And honestly? I still cook this way.

My dad has always said my creations are just like hers. Somehow, without spending much time with her, I carry the same cooking methods. How is that even possible? 😭❤️

My grand-maman passed long before I finished high school. But every time I make a pot, I think of her. Every time I have an abundance of treats to share with friends and family, I think of her.

Growing up, every visit to her place in backroad farm-country Quebec meant soup and fresh bread for lunch, with an array of cookies for dessert ☕🍪 It was simple yet surprising, classic, and filling.

And it’s with this same energy that I pour into every bowl and every bake 🪄✨

That old-fashioned bone broth simmering on the stove until the windows fog. That thick slice of hot fresh bread slathered with real butter and dipped in soup. That delicious sweet (but not too sweet) cookie beside a coffee or tea. That perfectly golden, buttery pie crust. Or that WOW-factor dessert that makes you forget about plates entirely and charge for the platter with a fork 🍰😅

This is the energy I bring. The flavour I infuse into every bite. The feeling I hope reaches your table.

Food that tastes like grand-maman made it — real, simple ingredients, full-fat cream, made the way it’s supposed to be… until your belly feels warm, happy, and ready for a nap.

This is how I take care of you. ❤️

Hello Brockville friends!
Today I'm at Shop The Street downtown King Street, situated near Sweet Ofelias, serving up savoury soups and sweet treats!
Everything I make is made from scratch, including the broth, and sourcing local beef + pork directly from the farm. This time I went to Montague for the beef and pork!
I have lots of gourmet cookies, mini pies, and 5-layer cheesecake bars with me. They are an experience of their own 🤌 oh, and did I mention, first 30 customers get a sweet treat on me! 🧁

I almost didn’t go to this market.

The past few weeks have been a little heavy, and I was second guessing a lot — including whether I should even be doing this market that was pretty far from home. But I went anyway, with my confidence somewhere near the floor 😂

And honestly, I’m really glad I went.

The day was beautiful, the venue was only a few minutes from my parents’ place (which made for a really nice Mother’s Day weekend), and the itself had such a VIBE!! I mean, dog market - hello! 🙋‍♀️🐶

It stayed busy all day, and by 2pm I had sold out completely 😭💕 — which honestly still feels a little surreal. This is just my 6th market ever 😳

Also… it amazes me how many soup lovers are out there. I had no idea it would resonate with so many, and I’m honestly loving meeting fellow soup people and talking about the craft 💕

This market reminded me why I love doing this so much. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed soup or dessert, chatted with me, and supported my little business ❤️

Next market is May 23rd at the Shop The Street Event on King Street. Can't wait to see you there!!
