We’re getting everything ready for the final Bike Night of the year this evening, and even though the forecast is looking a little stormy, we’re looking forward to one more night downtown!

September is looking a little bit WILD over here at Junibel’s… and I am SO excited about it.

We’ve got something happening at the beginning, middle and right through to the very end of the month, alongside our regular Fridays in Smiths Falls and Sundays in Kemptville.

We’re kicking things off with the final Downtown Smiths Falls Bike Night, and then September’s Saturdays get especially exciting…

September 12: Downtown Heritage Perth BIA Perth Night Market!! 😱
I still genuinely can’t believe we made it in this year. This has been one I’ve hoped to be part of for a while, so seeing it on our calendar feels pretty darn special.

September 19: Merrickville’s Makers Market !
We’re so excited to join them for their fall market this year. Merrickville + fall baking season feels like a pretty perfect combination.

September 25: SHIFT 2026 + sfbytherideaumarket
I’ll be proudly catering and attending SHIFT before ducking out after 2 and heading straight to our Friday market.

And we’re tying off this wonderfully bonkers month with the much-anticipated Perth Brewery Oktoberfest Party on September 26! 🍺🥨

Sunday market day in Kemptville!

We’ll be at the Kemptville Farmers Market today from 11–3 with a table full of fresh-baked favourites.

• Salted Toffee — fresh out of the oven, bubbling away in all that caramelized, toffee goodness. Just swipe and you’ll see what I mean.

There are a lot of exciting things up in the air for Junibel’s this year. Some are still pending, some are slowly starting to come together, and as each one becomes official, I’m so excited to finally be able to share them with you.

It’s one of our final weekends for all things peach, so we’re making the most of it while we can!

We had a request for a peach + almond combination, and loved the idea so much that we turned it into a Peach Almond Streusel Kuchen for this weekend.

We’ve also added a little extra peach to our Peach Croissant Blossoms this week. They’re filled with peach compote and peach buttercream, finished with a peach glaze and topped with a fuzzy peach candy.

We’re officially out of the office… and by office, we mean the kitchen until tomorrow!

We decided to sneak away for a little two-night family camping trip and trade the dough bench for the campfire for a minute.

We’ll be back home and back into production mode Thursday, getting everything ready for our Friday and Sunday markets.

For now, we’re kneading a little less and unwinding a little more. 💜
